Resilience training for medics

Eudemedics HC Skills Resilience

Eudemedics, who are our training partners, are proud to announce the publication of an article on the Resilience programme delivered in conjunction with HC Skills.

The piece runs to six pages in the highly respected Coaching Today magazine, which is published by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Eudemedics is the brainchild of Nic Malcomson and James Butcher, both positive psychologists, and Dr. Shweta Gidwani, a senior emergency medicine consultant.

The name comes from the concept of eudaimonic well-being, a psychological state of well-being derived from living a meaningful and purposeful life, striving, developing one’s abilities, and fulflling one’s potential while in the service of others.

In conjunction with HC Skills, they provide engaging training experiences for healthcare professionals to learn additional ways to manage the emotional demands of their day-to-day work, and to keep alive their original passion for what they do, across the whole span of their careers – to be resilient and fourish, despite the many challenges they encounter.
