Theatre Access qualification complies with all current standards

DURING the coronavirus crisis, it is important to reassure all holders of the HC Skills Theatre Access qualification that it meets all current standards.

These individuals have met the National Occupational Standards and the qualification  complies with all  the standards that hospitals are requesting of healthcare company representatives including those for blood-borne pathogens, acute care and codes of practice.

The Theatre Access course (level 5 , tiers 1-3), like all HC Skills education and training programmes, are internationally recognised.

They are compliance-driven and they meet the legal requirements of hospitals and the Life Sciences industry.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have created an all-new guide for healthcare company representatives who access hospitals and patient-facing areas to provide verbal technical assistance.

It ensures that these professionals will maintain best practice while supporting the use of medical devices and product maintenance

This guide aims to make available to the healthcare industry recommendations that will better protect hospital staff, patients and healthcare company representatives.
