Healthcare Skills Training International (HSTI) is proud to announce that The Surgeon Show 2026 has been officially awarded international CPD accreditation, recognising the educational quality and professional development value of the conference for the global surgical community.
The one-day event, taking place on 20 February 2026 at The Minster Building in London, will now offer all attending delegates five internationally recognised CPD points, awarded through HSTI’s collaboration with The CPD Certification Service.
For Diane Irvine, Chief Executive Officer of HSTI, the decision to support CPD accreditation for this event was clear. “We see time and again that the people who attend events like The Surgeon Show are the ones driving change in clinical practice,” said Diane. “They show up, engage in complex debate, challenge assumptions, and take what they learn back to their own institutions. That’s the very definition of continuing professional development and it should be recognised as such.”
Founded more than 25 years ago, Healthcare Skills Training International provides accredited, professional education to postgraduate clinicians, allied health professionals and industry partners across the healthcare ecosystem. As a UK EduQual-approved training centre, HSTI delivers internationally recognised qualifications grounded in patient safety, legal and ethical standards, and real-world clinical practice.
Working with The Surgeon Show represents a natural extension of Healthcare Skills Training International’s mission to raise the standard of professional education and support individuals committed to growth.
To qualify for CPD accreditation, the conference programme was reviewed against a comprehensive set of educational quality criteria. These included clearly defined learning outcomes, measurable professional value for attendees, expert-led content, and alignment with healthcare sector priorities.
The 2026 programme includes sessions on robotic surgery, AI in clinical decision-making, immersive surgical technologies, and the evolving leadership responsibilities of surgical professionals. With keynote speakers including Professor Shafi Ahmed, Professor Nikhil Vasdev, Professor Aymeric Lim, and Professor Yujia Gao, the agenda promises high-calibre insight with practical relevance.
“From our perspective, training doesn’t only happen in classrooms or through formal qualifications,” Diane added. “It also happens in the moments when professionals step back, reflect, and engage with new ideas. Conferences like The Surgeon Show provide that space and we’re proud to support recognition for those who choose to invest in their own development.”
All registered attendees will receive a CPD Certificate of Attendance following the event, provided by Healthcare Skills Training International.
