Supporting NHS Professionals with Bursaries for Virtual Training Courses

At Healthcare Skills Training International, we understand how difficult it can be for healthcare professionals to find the time away from the coal face, funding, and flexibility needed to upskill. That’s why we are proud  to offer a limited number of bursary places for healthcare professionals on our accredited  Postgraduate programmes.

We believe in removing barriers to professional development—because we’ve been there too. Our faculty is made up of healthcare professionals who have worked on the front lines and who know, first-hand, the pressures of clinical practice and continuing education. These bursaries are our way of giving back  and supporting colleagues in the healthcare community.

These places are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are offered across our most in-demand courses, including:

Diploma in Clinical Education (EQF Level 7)

• 3rd & 4th June 2025
• 4th & 5th July 2025
• 3rd & 4th September 2025

Diploma in Leadership in Healthcare (EQF Level 7)

• 21st & 22nd May 2025
• 16th & 17th July 2025
• 16th & 17th September 2025

Delivered in a live virtual classroom, these courses are structured to maximise learning with pre-course study, two days of expert-led teaching, and post-course assessment.

We know how challenging it can be to prioritise your own professional development when you’re under constant pressure to deliver care. These bursaries are a reflection of our commitment to accessible, meaningful learning—for every stage of your healthcare career.

• Bursaries are open primarily to NHS staff.
• If places are not fully taken up, we may offer them to other healthcare professionals.
