Student Holly Burke recently visited us at Healthcare Skills to celebrate her remarkable achievement of winning a gold medal in the mixed-team curling event at the Youth Winter Olympics in Korea earlier this year. Since sponsoring Holly, the team has been closely following her journey in the sport and couldn’t be more thrilled with her success.
“It was absolutely incredible to win Gold,” Holly shared. “I was in complete disbelief when we realised we’d won!”
Holly first took up curling five years ago and now has her sights set on competing in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. “It’s a huge goal, and I’m off to an amazing start!” she said.
We’ll be keeping a keen eye on Holly’s progress as she continues her journey towards the Winter Olympics, and we’re excited to support her every step of the way.
