Brian an ‘inspirational teacher’

PROOF that HC Skills have professional leaders in their fields, delivering professional standards on our qualifications came this week in the shape of an honour for one of our course tutors.

Dr Brian Howieson was officially recognised in the Student Led Teaching Awards at Dundee University.

Brian, who is Director of Management Programmes in the Graduate School of Natural Resources Law, Policy and Management, was honoured for Most Inspirational Teaching of Postgraduates by Dundee University Students Association.

He is also Head of Education & Professional Development at Royal College of Physicinas and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Brian has led numerous courses on behalf of HC Skills, and his experience and knowledge bring an authoritative air to whichever programme he delivers.

He has a deceptively easy way in his delivery and the engagement he enjoys with delegates is second to none.

HC Skills head Diane Irvine said: “It is a privilege – not just for us as an education centre but for our delegates too – to have Brian on board.

“It is wonderful that he has been recognised in this way in Dundee, where he is so highly rated by students and staff in equal measure.”
