Our Theatre Access qualification ensures that non-clinical staff and company representatives can enter and support hospital environments with assurance, contributing positively to clinical operations and fostering a collaborative dynamic between healthcare providers and industry representatives. Re-accreditation is recommendated every two years.

You will experience a 360 virtual tour of an operating theatre suite, bridging the gap between online and face to face training.

This course is accepted by all credentialling schemes including IntelliCentrics/Sec3ure, MIA/LSI and is benchmarked to National Occupational Standards.

Course details

The Theatre Access qualification is an essential credential for non-clinical staff, such as company representatives, who need to access hospital areas where clinical care is provided. This qualification aligns with hospital policies and industry regulations, achieving it demonstrates competence and legal compliance minimising liability and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of compliance. Governed by the UK Regulator this qualification ensures company representatives are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to be present and carry out their professional role in clinical settings.

You will develop the knowledge and skills which hospital management require of medical device industry present in hospital critical care areas providing any technical assistance.

The qualification is accepted by all Credentialing schemes. Re-accreditation is recommended every two years. To register for the Re-accreditation course click here

An understanding of detailed regulatory requirements, implications of medical device legislation and legal requirements for industry and codes of practice
